LAKOTA SIOUX-OWNED · OYÁTE CLOTHING COMPANY
ROOTED HERE.
BUILT TO LAST.
OYÁTE is a Native-owned clothing label built around identity, community, and a clean contemporary point of view.
OUR STORY
NOT A COSTUME.
NOT A TREND.
OURS.
OYÁTE was created to build a clothing brand that feels unmistakably Native and unmistakably current — something you can wear every day without turning culture into a gimmick.
OYÁTE is the Lakota word for the people, the nation. We make every piece for our people and for the generations still to come.
We keep the design language bold, direct, and intentional. Our black, red, yellow, and white palette honors the four directions of the Lakota sacred hoop. The clothing stays focused on strong graphics, wearable silhouettes, and a modern streetwear sensibility.
Our goal is simple: make pieces people are proud to put on, build the label with care, and create something that can carry forward.
WHAT WE STAND FOR
THE STANDARD
BEHIND THE LABEL.
LAKOTA SIOUX-OWNED.
OYÁTE is Lakota Sioux-owned. That ownership is part of the brand itself — not a seasonal campaign or marketing angle.
CONTEMPORARY BY DESIGN.
We build for people living right now: clean apparel, strong graphics, and pieces meant to move through everyday life.
GIVING BACK.
10% of every sale is split equally between NICWA and First Nations Development Institute, supporting Native-led work for children, families, communities, economies, and culture.
GIVING BACK
WHEN OYÁTE GROWS,
WE WANT THAT GROWTH
TO REACH FURTHER.
Part of building OYÁTE is making room to give back. 10% of every sale is split equally between NICWA and First Nations Development Institute, Native-led organizations doing meaningful work for Native children, families, economic opportunity, and cultural strength.
